Finger Pointing (March 12)

Happy Friday!!! It is a gorgeous, sunny spring morning here in Los Angeles. Cool, crisp with palm trees swaying in the breeze. Just perfect! The only thing bad about this morning was having to pick just 9 layouts. The galleries are so jam packed with so much gorgeousness, it is ridiculous! Its killing me not to post them all! Seriously, go cruising. There is so much inspiration out there!!!

Follow Your Dreams by shayenne27

I love the light, spring feel of this. That bird stamp in the background is amazing!!! Gorgeous page.

Almost Seven by JenJ

Jen is one of my heros. She has such a knack with patterned papers and color. This is no exception! LOVE the pops of red.

Everyday Ordinary by missrubikscube

This is such a great page. Look at the depth she created. I just want to run my hands over it. I totally dig the patchwork of papers and all the stitching!

031110 by heatherbird

The use of that torn paper is so believable. I totally feel like I am peeking into that magical world. The tendrils and cheshire cat escaping, sell it!

This photo grabbed me. What an expression. This page is so pretty and fresh.

Finger Pointing - March 11th

Hi everyone! It's Laura here with a little guest pointing today. The galleries of digiland were packed full of eye candy today in so many different styles. I love the variety of pages and artistry that all fall under digital scrapbooking. I hope you find inspiration from these layouts too!

Summertime by wombat146
I've had enough of winter here, so this dreamy, gorgeous page really captured my fancy today. The photo itself is stunning and the blending work is superb. The light flare is such a perfect touch too.

XOXOX by Augusti_73
I love the funky brushwork and great details here. The photo and sentiment are both wonderful, but the non-traditional approach to a wedding picture makes it even more fabulous!

Dr. Seuss fave by heathergw
The bright, fun and whimsical design popped this layout right out of the gallery. I love how the list of primer words leads my eye to the photo. Awesome learning to read page!

Baby Boy by Lisa_mommy2two
OK, I admit that I'm a sucker for a great baby page, but this one is truly beautiful! The photo is so adorable and has a wonderful treatment. The clustering and shadows are lovely as well.

RAK by Magda_lena
The pops of green on that grey paper as well as the subtle blending really make this a standout. Gorgeous composition and photos too.

This is one of those sweet tribute pages that you know will make the recipient cry. Every little element here is beautiful and the journaling contains so many wonderful details about this Grandma. What a special page!

The use of the paper and the extraction in this layout is really unique and fun! I love the crisp photos, colors and spot-on shadows too.

Garden Inspiration by JeanH
I'm always impressed by a lovely hybrid project. This card is so detailed and beautiful, full of Spring happiness. She even hand made the envelope! Wouldn't you love to get that in the mail?!

Celebrate 28 by Kayleigh
Pages that have tons of photos and still retain a gorgeous composition are fascinating to me. She has packed in so many details here too. The stitching in particular really adds a great realistic quality to this page.

Thanks for stopping by today. I hope you enjoyed these picks. See you next week!

Finger Pointing March 8th

Hello everyone! Susan here to bring you some fabulous Monday layouts. I have a fun time searching through all the galleries, and its always hard to just narrow it down, but I have brought you my favorites.

Sunny Daydream by Jenny79

I just fell in love with this layout the second I seen it. Look at that fabulous shadowing and clustering. She used a fantastic color scheme that matches well with her photographs. You can tell the time she put into taking these this fabulous photo.

Lady Papillion by Ki1987

I love the softness and true fiminine qualities of this layout. She did a fantastic job at her design by placing such wonderful photos with clusters in a split page design.

Loves You by Snaggletooth75

Loves you is such an inspiring page. Look at how she has mixed so many true elements. Something I know alot of people find difficult. She has taken the paint, then layered up to strings, flowers, buttons, doodles, paper, and real elements to create one beautiful cluster and one amazing layout.

Inspired by Hondachicc

I really enjoy the true simplicity of this layout, yet the huge impact the message carries. I love how the photo is dominant part of the layout, with truely inspiring journaling.

080310 by Okran

I love the beautiful scenary created here. This layout has a fantastic use of elements and painted papers to create a place to beautfully set such a wonderful baby photo.

Having Fun by Slurpeegirl13

Something that always stands out to me is when someone uses both colored and black and white photos and then work them with a kit that accentuates them. I also love the vertical design and the wonderful clustering created here.

Well done, u by LenaBradenburg

Lena has always been someone who is truely inspiring with her layouts. I seen this layout and I love it! Something I know that is always tricky is trying to do photoless layouts. She has succeded in doing a fabulous one. In this layout you'll read some truely touching journaling.

Pump up the Jam by Traci Reed

I love when I can see someone used the entire page, but not make it look overly cluttered or messy. Traci did a fantastic job with this layout. I love the doodled elements mix with realistic elements.

For you what you like every!! by Ivana Alves

Ivana has such an eclectic style that is all her own. She is a source of constant inspiration, which you see here with this layout. I love her color scheme mixed with wonderful elements.

Finger Pointing (March 7)

Evening all, Kate here with my picks from the galleries today. I hope you enjoy them!

zara's love list by cayla73

Utter cuteness! Such a strong composition here, I love the heart shaped grouping of brads and the beautifully controlled colour scheme. And that super-cute photo of course!

My bucket list by Ddamsel

There are a lot of bucket list layouts in the galleries at the moment but this one stopped me in my tracks as soon as I saw it. This is a real labour of love - it took 22 hours to complete - and is so striking and perfectly composed, there are so many details pulling your eye here and there but it's all tied together by the rainbows. Gorgeous.

Beach Boys by echogirl

Just SO simple - a group of photos, some tape and staples and a few splats and scribbles are all this page needs! Beautiful work.

Happy Holi by GButcher

I adore this page! Such a great photo set off by the perfect balance of white space and little touches of colour here and there.

my bucket list by gonewiththewind

Another bucket list (I couldn't resist showing them both!) and another incredible collage of hopes, dreams and aspirations.

I Didn't Come to Earth to Compromise by JALong

I am working on a layout with a similar cut-out effect at the moment and I know from bitter experience how hard it is to make it look as good as this! The colours here are great, I love the big stamped title and of course - the paper cut-out effect.

Cherish the Now by JenniferBarrette

Masterly use of so many patterned papers, this is so perfectly balanced.

Them... by sandramilie

This really lept out of the gallery at me, the combination of red background and the curved corners and multiple frames is really striking. I love the little smudge of black ink on the right too.

explore by lesliecoltrain

I just want to jump into this photograph and go exploring with this little chap! There is such an air of wonder and possibility in this layout, the journalling is beautifully written too. A magical page.
