Finger Pointing (July 3)

Hello my friends! Hope everyone is gearing up for a fun filled weekend.

Here are some layouts that float my boat today.

Antietem by melanie3boys

I love the dreamy feel of this. The framing of just the child is a perfect way to draw attention to the image. Gorgeous!

Pure Love by anetka

This is stunning. The composition and use of wordart is really well done. Love the polka dots on the photo as well to tie everything together.

Journey of a lifetime by etrala

This is just plain fun! Dig everything about it.

Just  A Little Love Note by shawtyp

This is so sweet. Love the color select on the photo and the stamped words on the background. Great balance and scale too.

Your Half by blurooferika

The journaling on this layout is so great and I love how she really illustrated her message. Love it!!

Memories by marto_gal_30

Love that this page is about the journaling. The use of elements is so refrained but really well used.

Yes by Martuska

Such great layering here. Very elegant and romantic.

Daily Peace of Luck by dodo74

I find this so charming and sweet. Love the hanging photo and the use of the wordart.

Tasty Breakfast by OlgaUnger

The composition and shadowing here is amazing! I adore this layout. Pure enchantment.

Finger Pointing {July 2}

Happy Day after Canada day and 2 Days before America day!!! Sorry I'm late, sick kid.....'nuff said.

Here is my picks from the galleries for today:

Your my Star by Leah

Love the design and the flamboyant colour combo here! I really like the sparkly sqaure bits in the background. Really eye catching LO!

Untitled by Simoni

This is stunning. She has managed to blend the photo and papers so seemlessly....it all just flows and weaves together. I love all the little touches too, especially the stitches and tags....beautiful LO.

True Patriot by LilCameronsMommy

Very very cool tribute / heritage LO. I love this, it's beautifully layered and composed and the shadow work is excellent too. This is frameable.

Tasty Selections - Denise Gormish

This makes me hungry. I love that she scrapped this and I LOVE the journaling. The plain white background really allows the photos to shine. Gorgeous. And yummy.

Music by b_stepien

This is gorgeous.....the composition and layering and soothing colours are all wonderful but what caught me was the air of meloncholy.....there is something so bittersweet about this page it makes me imagine stories about it. I love that.

Mercurial by blurooferika

heehee. LOVE this! I love how she jounraled such an ordinary moment and made it something special. I also really like how REAL this LO is. It's a slice of day to day life and that is very cool to hold onto. The bright colours and large photo really make it pop. {and the temp gauge on the left is rockin'!} Excellent work!

Love by Sweeet

uh....ya. I don't think I need to explain why this LO is just cool beyond belief. She rocked it. totally. The extracted hands holding up photos, the title work, the designs....uh....yaaaaa. Amazing!

Frustration by stampin_rachel

This is so real and honest. I really like how she talks about the not perfect side of parenting. Cause we all know there is lots of those moments, weeks, months. Aside from the intent of the LO, I love her titlework. Amazing.......and it somehow adds to the feeling of the word. Fantastic work.

All Set by mrshobbes

I LOVE the layering and colour scheme here. This is so cool. It looks like she just dropped everything on the page and then randomly moved stuff to create perfection. Beautiful beautiful beautiful. I could look at this for ages!

Finger pointing (July 1)

Happy first day of July!  I found some beauties in the gallery today to provide some inspiration and get your creative juices flowing.  Enjoy!

Don't Tread on Me by LauraKaye

I just love this - the tones of the paper, photo angle and coloring, and the stitching that resembles a bike path, and the little splatters that look like mud.  Perfect minimalist page - down to the little bike on top of the block alpha!

Philosophy from the back seat by Britgirl

This is such a tender page - no photos, but the journaling and elements completely capture the moment between her girls.

Why by Emily Merritt

The elements are perfect for these photos - subtle clouds behind the photos, balloons floating overhead, and great journling.

Camporee by Crissy

Lots of beautiful, but unposed photos with great photo toning.  The layout captures so many joyful memories - with the wet ones mixed in too.

6-28-09 by JenJ

Journaling - lots of it, and it's heartfelt, showing the depth of their faith and the breadth of her joy.  Love it - the big date in the middle is a perfect accent.

What's for Lunch by tdavenport

A scrapping the everyday layout - great photo, bright alpha, and love the date tags along the page.  Perfect childhood memory.

rainy rain by amanda resende

great monochromatic theme - colors just remind me of a rainy day, with the bold shadows and little umbrellas falling down from the repeating photo - all a perfect rainy day layout.

Funky Princess by Gbutcher

love this layout - with the neutral background and bright color strips, with just a touch of whimsy.  Looks like you could reach out and touch it!

Sunday Morning by Keely~B

Great journaling and elements to tell the story!

Finger Pointing (June 30)

Hi all, we'll start off with a chuckle today.....

s.guthoerl's Creamy Bodylotion

This one got me ROLLLINGGG, just wait for the page to load.

Tracy107's Watch You Grow

Looks like one of the ads I've torn out of an older magazine. Loving the vignette on the photos and a nice design overall.

donjing's Moments-neu

The pic, the blending, the reflection, the simple word art. Just stunning

ajaabney's Too Cool

This is just a fun page with great pics.

Lumilyon's Dragonflies

If you follow those glowing lights in the dark, this is where they will take you.

lusy's Trouble

Arrr, watch out for this pirate, here comes trouble! Great pics and awesome clustering, this page immediately caught my eye!

zsaliza's Amelyn

Every little girl's dream, to be a fairy in this magical world.

paula kesselring's "Tell me what's on your mind !"

I'm just hypnotized. The eyes lock yours onto the page, great design, colors and amazing shadowing!

heathert's The Hand

Yeah, the hand, the hand says it all.

Don't forget to leave them some love!

Finger Pointing (June 28)

Hello everyone! I hope you're enjoying the weekend. I've had fun searching through the galleries (whilst listening to footage from the Glastonbury Festival!) to bring you my picks for today, ahhh what a great Sunday afternoon!

Chengie's Coming Soon

Such a beautiful page anticipating the arrival of a new babe, all the sparkles add a wonderful magical touch.

kchris's Cookies

cookies...mmmmm...cookies...mmmm YUM! Great journalling here, especially the sums working out how many cookies have been baked over the years. Lovely embellishments, and well, a page about cookies always stands out to me.

danielled's Everyday Disarray

I adore this page: the font choice for the title, the journalling that appears to be part of the paper, the fabulous photo and grungy paint. Great stuff.

Pam's Love

Fabulous mix of blended photos and framed ones, the tilted angle of the paper is so striking, and the photos - oh so cute!

maseyv's Perrine

Stunning composition with an air of mystery enhanced by the lack of journalling - what is she looking at?!

kellbuckley's Phinizy Swamp

I love how Kelly has made her photos part of the scene she created but still keeps them as rectangular "photo shaped" images, such great interplay between the pics and all the elements.

wombat146's Reflections

The photo. Just look at this photo. Absolutely beautiful with the perfect amount of embellishment to let this photo shine.

KayM's The Dogs I Love

It's easy to neglect scrapping our furry or feathered (or scaled for that matter) friends and here's a page that celebrates Kay's special doggies in all their glory! The photo of them from behind is too cute for words.

quietangelsb's Up!

Such a great design with the vertical paper strips and all the balloons, balanced nicely with the titlework and journalling. Such fun!

Finger Pointing (27 June)

Oh my goodness! I'm late! So sorry!  Onward...
