The choice of elements here really emphasises the theatrical theme, there's something very magical and timeless about this page. Beautiful shadowing too.

Ha ha, such fun! Love the hot pink / black combo and all the touches of bling, especially the sparkle on the black wings.

Great use of a few pops of colour in an otherwise monochrome page, the layered paper pieces and the cut out shapes in the main paper are so effective.

This is so simple but oh so striking - wonderful use of a tricky colour makes this such a perfect sunshiney page!

Great mix of colour and pattern here, I really like the small photo nestled in all the layers - great use of that blue ribbon to balance the colours too.

I love the homey feel to this page! All the little details are so perfect and the large fabric square adds such a great texture to the page. Too cute.

Wow...it's August already?  My kids start school in less than 2 weeks and I haven't even started getting ready.  They are still staying up late, sleeping in and enjoying summer to the fullest.  Hopefully it won't be too much of a shock when school starts!  Here are my picks for Wednesday:

I absolutely love the earthy tones in this page. The title work is fantastic and I just love all the tiny little details used here.

jenbreeze's SF Adventure

I love the cool, graphic feel to this page! Here's another example of great title work and I just love how the design lets the large photo takes center stage.

Katrina's tiny whirlwind

How cute and fun is this! I absolutely love the way all the elements in this page fit with her theme. The design really captures the craziness that comes with having her little boy. Too cute!

mymalloryboys' Photo Swap

I take a lot of scenery-type photos when I travel but I'm never sure how to incorporate them into my scrap pages. But I totally love what she did here with the photos! The way the large photo blends into the design really helps to give the viewer a much more complete sense of the location. So awesome!

Carolee's Summer Treats

This page just popped right out of the gallery. I definitely love giving homes to elements and the idea of using tags like this is so fun. The colors really pop against the neutral background too.

applechick's Merry Xmas!

I know it's still many months away from Christmas but doesn't this page make you wish it was here already?? I absolutely love the use of the painter's tray - all the details here are so fun! Bring on Christmas in July! (or umm, Christmas in...August? hehe)

This page caught my eye right away because I loved the cool, vintage feel to it. It totally makes me think of old amusement-style piers which is clearly so perfect for her theme.

This is such a perfect summer page! The towel "paper" is SO cool and all the little water elements go perfectly with it. Love the fun, blocked design too!

This page caught my attention in the gallery not only for it's amazing design, but for the rawness of the topic. I think we can probably all relate to her journaling and I love the way she featured it here with her design and journaling.
