Happy New Year! I hope you all enjoyed the festive season and are feeling refreshed and renewed ready for all that 2010 has in store! It's an early post from me today, we are off out in the snow for the rest of the day, here are my picks from the galleries today:

Utter genius! Love the colour blocked spectrum, the oh-so-cute photos and the little bits and pieces tucked here and there.

This is so beautiful! Great composition, photo and cute subject matter.

JenJ's i {heart} fashion

This reminds me so much of the teenage collages I used to make! So clever and creative, I love the roughly cut out effect here.

jenn7's Crybaby

The strong directional lighting in these photos really adds to the dramatic feel here, this is such an emotive page! I hope those little teeth come through soon for you little one.

Joey M's Upward

There are LOADS of blcoked layouts in the galleries at the moment with the start of a new Project 365 and the end of various December Daily type projects, but this was the one that stood out the most to me. The photography is fabulous, the orange and blue sing against each other! Beautifully and simply scrapped as befitting such great photos.

loribear's Moments Recorded

I think this is probably my favourite page today, and something I haven't seen for a long time in the galleries - just a record of a couple of hours random thoughts and happenings on an everyday sort of a day. Fun to make and fun to look back on too.

pSyren's Sydney 2010

When I first saw this I was rather envious that the scrapper got to see Sydney's new year celebrations first hand, then I read the journalling! I'm sure lots of us can relate to this! Clever composition too, I love the countdown on the right hand side especially.

Absolutely stunning and eye-catching, I love these bright colors and they are so perfectly clustered and layered. And extra kudos for her credit list, heh.

It was the simplicity of this layout that caught my eye. It shows such tenderness and elegance, even more with the little stamped frame on the photo.

How quirky and cute this is, as a vertically challenged woman myself, I had a few giggles when I saw the chair.

Good Morning! Erin here with my first picks of 2010!! I hope everyone had a wonderful season and is fresh and bright eyed for 2010! It's the Olympic year here in BC....much to many of us's dismay...hah. But regardless, I think it's gonna be good!

I love this! This photo is just way too stellar and the design is fantastic! Love the almost rockabilly look going on...the swirls in the background remind me of tattoos...it all just comes together and makes me smile!

Wicked Cool Graphic LO. WOW! This blows my socks off! The photography is beautiful and the clean, crisp lines are a perfect juxtaposition to the warm glowy pictures. Amazing!

Wow!!! Wow wow wow! This is just way cool. I have NO idea how she got that much stuff on this page and yet kept it looking SO put together! WOW! totally awesome! (and I love and adore alphas so...ya..hah)

I LOVE this idea! I love that she asked her little man questions and wrote down his answers. How cool will this be for them to look back on??? This LO totally inspired me to do the same with my kids, I just wish I'd thought of it before! I really like the text based look here and the photos she chose are totally adorable!

Happy Belated New Year!

I am so excited to be bringing you the first offical GSO post of 2010! I can't believe we are already in a New Year. I had a great Holiday vacation. I always really enjoy being home with the kids and my family for a change. No crazy obligations or a million things to do. We just kind of take it easy and soak it up.
