To provide an environment of reflection and growth in the art of scrapbooking
Hello my friends! Lauren, here. It's been a long time since I've had a crack at the blog and I've really missed it. I could have shared pages and pages with you...but...yeah...just 9.
Hollie's Battlefield
Amazing work Hollie. I think Hollie is often under rated as a scrapper - not only does she always have fabulous shadows but she makes sure she has hi-lights and proper depth perception to match - is often easier to get the first one correct but the later two take a long time of practice and skill. And she's not afraid to put her emotions out there. Fab.
monkeysocks's Lazy Day
I was completely drawn in by the tones. The action on the photo is wonderful with the rest of the colors of the layout - which also includes a great deal of "kid" feel to it - the scribbles, drops of dirt, funky font. Love it.
KimberlyRae's Imagination
I am not one for fantasy or extractions - it takes alot to win me over. Bingo. This should be submitted as an inspirational poster.
kmartorina's first job
One thing I love about scrapbooking is that we've decided to not only scrap "our" memories to preserve for the generations but also scrap the memories of our children until they decide one day to actively own their memories and preserve them. kmartorina has done this for her son. Love the background paper she's used - the little touches of the tree and paperclip. Well done.
cherpea's go fish
Who says you need a photo? cherpea! that's who! She does this often. You should follow her.
zwyck's Ancestors
The blending is superb. So much to look at. My husband is a first born American - my children second generation. I've visited Ellis Island - so much rich history there. Lovely.
aapas's Perfect Creations
First time I looked at this I said to myself, "Are you KIDDING me??!!" 1 - the vision to create this; 2 - the blending; 3- the drop shadows. Oh my goodness, perfection.
nevache's Sweet Treats
Okay. I 'fess. I love pink. I love Nevache. But look at the edges - it looks just like a page out of book. Those shadows in the crease of the page are amazing. (oh! and hi-lights - don't forget your hi-lights to make things really pop!)
JenniferC's summer memories
Love the bold colors and the rugged boyish quality of this page. That stapled down branch rocks!!
