Finger Pointing {July 16}

Yup, it's me. Tthe consistanly late girl. But at least I'm consistant, at least you know you can count on me to ALWAYS be an hour or so late. I was going to say sorry but then I looked at the positives (see former sentence). That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

Great stuff in the galleries today, as usual. So take a look at a few I loved. And then your assignment is to go leave some love on these amazing LO's. Do as your told or I'll take all your favourite papers away and put them in the digital shredder. *grin*

Love the title work. Interesting titlework grabs me every time. And I'm not sure if it's 1 word or 2 so I threw them both in there in the first sentence. Pretty clever huh? This page is grungy, edgy and sweet. It makes me think of a cozy family apartment in a big loud exciting city. Odd analogy I know, but that is how it makes me feel. And I love LO's that make me feel.

Fun Time with Daddy by fliffyangel

First of all, I LOVE this girl's screen name. Don't you just want to say that over and over? I'm jealous she thought of it and all I figured out was "chickypow" sigh. Secondly, just check out this LO. Wow. Spend some time with it. Let your eyes wander, not only is the composition fun and excellent, but her layering and shadows make me feel like I could touch the bits and pieces. And the photos are very cute. Gorgeous.

Dennis the Menace by sam ellis

hahahahahaha! The first thing I thought when I checked out this LO is "Hey! I've got that kid too!!!". heeheehee. I so get this. And she used a perfect, simple design with the focus on the stunning photo. The text down the side tops it off. Fell in love with this and thought many of you would too. *grin*

My Super Hero by Cherry

ahhhhh...ya. Speaks for itself. But if you really want to hear my opinions (and really, I put forth to you, WHO doesn't? hah) LOVE the clustering. This girl is a goddess at clustering. She has also created wonderful depth with her shadows. And look!! Look at the tiny photos taking the place of lighted windows on the cityscape on the bottom! How clever is that???

*sigh* ok. I admit it. I cried. I want to hop a plane and hug her. She has taken a heartbreaking even and created beauty. I can't say much more or else I may tear up again. *hugs to you sweetie*

This is way too cool. It looks like a jungle of falling branches and moss. It's lush, it's green, it's dreamy and it's all on a crisp white background. It's all round fantastic. I would hang this on my wall. I hope she does.

Love the flow here. Visually, this is a peaceful, calming LO. With an edge of excitment. Who doesn't get excited at wee baby feet? I love the cool, soothing colours mixed with the anticipation. The design is stupendous and I love the soft photo blend she has in the middle of the curve. Lovely.

This is one of my favourite kits ever. My eyes are always drawn to LO's with it. And this one in particular. Her design is awesome. Fantastic vertical and diagonal lines here! And SO darned cute! Love the journaling too. You do not want to pass this one up!
