Finger Pointing (Oct 13th)

Everyone ready for Christmas decorations? Me, either. I'm glad the galleries aren't showing Christmas yet but I think it will start soon. Let's enjoy some fall holiday spirit instead...and a few other goodies.

Magda lena's RAK for Markojanett

I just love the flow down the side - the really soft fade of the photo in the background - everything is placed perfectly.

Kelleanne's Already so big

Fabulous composition. It looks like she visually created a bucket for the photo to rest in - love the big alpha to emphasize her thoughts and the little touches of sequins, stitching and bow.

laura grimes's bath fun

Oh mercy me all that blue swirlyness drew me in. But on second glance there is precise placement of little things - the whale, the ship, the date -- not to mention the paper tear that flows right along with her design.

DutchieM's Dreams

Very creative indeed. Great brush work and execution of her idea.

pne123's Simply You

Oooo...that flower paper with the pinking shear edge - I love every little detail here.

EMCDS's In Search Of

Gotta love the isolated color and the play of that throughout the rest of the layout. The curved edges of the photo and the journaling that completes the rectangle. Also love how she played with the alpha arrangement.

sue.falstaff's Jez O' Lantern

Hee hee hee...A great photo really doesn't need much as Sue has proven. Nice photo mask and anchoring of stitching on the white background.

carollee's Mean ol' Cat

This is a very simple layout but I had to show it to you because it was so well thought out. Notice that the three main colors - the blue, aqua-green and tan come directly from the photo - a perfect match. Nice blocking with the curved edges.

nensike's Purple Princess

I'll never give up pink but I love this layout. It is a great photo to begin with but notice how her brush work complements the texture of the brick wall. Sweet girl layout.

This is hysterical that you put my layout there (hysterically fabulously good mind you) because my husband hated that I used the navy and aqua colour, he thought it looked too much like the photo. hahaha What does he know RIGHT? Cause if GSO thinks it's good, then it's good. Thanks again!!
