To provide an environment of reflection and growth in the art of scrapbooking
Are you all shopped out?! I hope you enjoyed Digital Scrapbooking Day and all the sales, crops and chats that went with it! My PayPal is well and truly empty now, so now I'm rounding off my weekend by browsing through the galleries for some scrapping inspiration! Here's what I found:
flattsgurls' Frosting
Ha ha! This is a girl after my own heart! the colours here are great, it makes a nice change from the usual brightly coloured cake pages.
Gabi's unforgettable 2002
Wonderful journalling, the earthy colours are just perfect and the shadowing is spot on - it looks like a paper scrapped page.
MayM's Trick or Treat
Mwahahahaa!! This had me giggling for ages, the journalling is really funny. Great photos and colours here and I love the structured composition.
keling's The Cleaning, Again
Hmmm, I am pretty sure we can all relate to this. I love the colours here and the nod to Alice in Wonderland, I'm sure it will make Sara smile every time she sees it hanging in her kitchen!
Karen's Raking 09
This is such a great autumn page, the inky paper is the perfect foil for the photos. Check out the leaf shaped pictures too, such a great little touch!
Leora's confidant
This is SUCH a great teen page, the photo is wonderful and full of spirit, the journalling is very touching and that edgy yellow paper is so perfect. I always think that yellow is such a different colour to use well and Leora really nailed it here. Great stuff.
neetdesigner's Be You
This is really beautiful, it caught my eye straight away and I've spent ages looking at the fabulous shadowing and the wonderful handling of the colours. The tint on the photos is just perfect.
ReSales' la playa
Summer seems such a long time ago, I was really happy to see this ray of sunshine in the gallery today! The composition here is great, the flow across the page is really good and the dark strips top and bottom lend to the nautical theme.
stampin rachel's PS - the dog
This is so cute - the journalling made me smile and the use of the patterned paper is perfectly done, the patern echoing the paving in the photo. Again, another great tint on the photo to tie it in with the rest of the page. Little pops of red here and there add a bit of oomph to the page.
