To provide an environment of reflection and growth in the art of scrapbooking

Finger Pointing (November 10)

Kate here again bringing you my selection of stunners from the gallery today!

chickypow's Kitchen Diva

We have an understanding here at the GSO team that a layout from one of the team members has to be really outstanding to make its way onto the blog. Well, this one is! I love the title and I can really relate to the journalling (I'm not much of a cook either) - the little handwritten notes here and there are such fun. Fabulous composition and shadowing too.

emilymerritt's iPod Girl

This just makes me smile. Those gorgeous photos and the wonderful flow across the page make this such a happy page. Great use of the black, white and yellow colour scheme too.

gonewiththewind's Thankful 4 Books

Another page with a great diagonal flow to it, and another page with journalling I can really relate to - I love seeing that pile of books waiting for me too. I love the eclectic assortment of goodies she used here, just perfect for the theme.

Irenchen's winter is coming

Wow. I adore this page - those wonderful photos, the controlled colour scheme, the shadowing, everything just adds up to a really great wintery page. bbbbrrrrr.

Joan's blow away

And now, a really great summer page! Just look at these colours, so delicious. A fun page that tells a lovely little story too.

maghenrey's Artist in the Making

This was the "wow, I have to have this one!" moment for me today! It's masterfully composed with the paint and the frames drawing your eye straight to the photo and I love the mosaic effect.

RebeccaH's Pack Your Bags

This is what scrapbooking is all about for me - those little tiny everyday details that seem unimportant at the time, but so fun to remember when you look back on them a few years down the line. A great mixture of photos and elements and I really like the little lists of the bag contents.

TerryN's Piece by Piece

I really like this page, I spent ages looking at all the details in the photos and the elements Terry used here. It's very cleverly done, from the toning of the main photo with the background paper to all the little shimmering sprinkles, the whole page works together beautifully.

Zenobia's Friends Forever!

Such a sweet heartwarming page to finish with! Lovely warm tones here (great effect on the photos to match) and fabulous shadowing too.
