To provide an environment of reflection and growth in the art of scrapbooking

Finger Pointing (19 Nov)

Hello fellow scrappers! I'm happy happy that we are past the middle of the week. I had a hard time staying away from the scrap challenge at My Scrapbook Art - you should check it out - really creative stuff there - so...other than all those layouts - here are a few I fell in love with...oh, and I got side tracked several times to look at credits and um...hmmm...buy...lol.

kris crosby's now that you're 5

completely enamored by everything here. such a great photo capture of her daughter showing her age - the purple ribbon and shadow work everywhere on the page - using the space on the photo for element work and the nice centered work. *sigh*

now that you're

Gisela's [Isa]

oh hey - more centered work! guess I'm a sucker for that but what really drew me in was the non-traditional colors - that shade of turquoise rocks!

jenny's not quite 5

amazing thought behind this - her journaling - the photo catch that implies he's running to become older - the brush work - love everything.

not quite 5

Malu Guia's spiked hair!

cute cute cute. love how she cropped the photo to emphasize the hair - the fun exuding - and for some reason the whole thing reminds me of Chandler Bing from Friends.

emmasmom's Winter Wonder

gorgeous winter page - fabulous element and paint work but the best thing is you can see the wind pushing across the page. well done!

voodoo bryn's Enchanted Boy

the color combination just rocks - the crown, the ribbon - the patterned paper underneath - love it.

Luciana Orikassa's Make me smile

immediately without hesitation this went straight into my favs. the black and white theme - the joy on her face, the shadow on the ribbon - the stamped crazy but contained word art - perfect.

make me smile

angie wag's Pez

okay. seriously? if you've raised children there has been at least one moment in your life that you've done this in some form. gotta love how she documented it all!

sahlink's family tradition

absolutely love the color flow from the photos onto her page - great work for sure!
